What is the 100 Year Mission?
The Book Planet in Our Hands ends with an outline for a 100 year plan to 'save our planet'.
However, this mission isn’t about some far-off future disconnected from our lives. It begins now, with us. Those who are alive today, especially the young and those yet to be born in the coming years, may very well witness the culmination of this 100 Year Mission - find out why in the book. Our purpose is to sew seeds now, which will grow, and the generations that follow will tend and nurture them.
This is a call to action and a promise—a promise that we have the power to build a world where harmony is possible, where the forces of destruction no longer hold sway, and where humanity can thrive in unity with the planet we call home – the only planet that is home to all of us. It’s a reminder that the future is not a distant dream; it’s an ongoing story that we are all a part of, one that starts with us and stretches beyond the horizon, linking our hands with those who will come long after we are gone.
This may read like a utopian dream. Perhaps it is. But climate change is not a dream, it is a nightmare, and it will destroy us if we do not start to act now. Click on the book to order your copy. Ordering from Canada - Click here.
From the Author
We live in extraordinary times. Our world is changing faster than ever, and with that change comes both remarkable opportunity and unprecedented danger. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Every day, we’re bombarded with information—news articles, social media posts, opinion pieces—each telling us something different about what’s happening around us. We’re drowning in facts, opinions, and warnings, and yet, as individuals, we feel less and less equipped to do anything about the massive challenges facing humanity.
That’s where this book comes in. I wanted to write something different, something that cuts through the noise. This book is not meant to overwhelm you with details or impress you with technical jargon. It’s meant to give you a clear and honest picture of where we’ve come from, where we are, and where we’re headed as a species—and more importantly, what you, as an individual, can do about it.
This isn’t a textbook or an academic tome; it’s a guide, a tool to help you navigate the complex problems of our age.
Now, let’s talk about something we all face: time. Or rather, the lack of it. In this modern world, finding the time to sit down and read a lengthy book can feel impossible. We’re busy, distracted, and constantly pulled in different directions. That’s why I’ve worked hard to make this book concise. You can read it in a single sitting, maybe two. It’s under 100 pages for a reason—because I know how hard it can be to get through anything longer, especially when life is pulling you in a hundred different directions. My goal is to give you the maximum amount of information in the shortest time possible, without sacrificing depth or clarity.
